We got this idea when I visited Cedar Rapids Prairie High School. I showed our Athletic Director Mike Morgan the pictures I took and he quickly introduced this idea to our students and they absolutely ate it up! Every student loves to "leave their mark" on the building so what better way than to have your handprint up for all to see. We actually had our Senior Wall right outside the gym which was a perfect place for the public to see. The following year the next group of seniors got to leave their handprint so our wall did change every year. We received a ton of positive feedback from students, parents, and other people who visited our building. A handful of other schools have contacted us wanting to do the same thing!
